Description of our service
We operate a content magement system
(hereinafter referred to as "CMS") on
"www.creastop.com".
The CMS is suitable for creating websites,
documentations and multimedia
presentations (hereinafter referred to
as "creation of projects").
The created projects are available for
immediate download, compressed in
a ZIP file.
For further processing of the project,
the downloaded ZIP file can be read
into the CMS.
The created projects can be published
by a provider of your choice.
The downloaded projects can also be
started locally from the user's hard drive,
independently of a webserver.
The CMS provides customizable sample
objects (hereinafter referred
to as "templates").
It is possible to work together on a
project with a partner, enabled with a
real-time browser-to-browser
connection (hereinafter referred to as
"WebRTC =
Web Real Time Communication").
The creation of a project takes place
in the user's webbrowser and
independent of our servers with regard
to the user-generated content.
The creation and download of the
ZIP file as well as the reading of the
ZIP file for further processing is done
locally in the user's webbrowser,
i.e. the project never leaves the
user's device with the following
exception :
In a project collaboration, the user has
the option to send a project to
a partner via WebRTC.
Data protection for
user generated content
The creation of a project takes place
locally in the user's webbrowser and
independently of our servers with
regard to the content generated
by the user. Our servers do not store
user-generated content at any time.
The reading of files from the user's
hard drive into the CMS (e.g. audios,
videos, images, fonts) takes place
locally and directly from the
hard drive into the user's webbrowser,
independent of our servers.
The creation of the ZIP file for saving
the project as well as the import of
an existing ZIP file into the CMS for
further editing is done locally on
the user's device (browser).
No content generated by the user
will be sent over the Internet.
The user thus enjoys the greatest
possible privacy, since the project
never leaves the user's device
at any time.
Server logfiles
Each time the website is accessed, our
web servers automatically store
the following data from the accessing
computer in a logfile:
- Browser type, version, language,
operating system of your device
- Date and time of server request
- the website from which access
was made (referrer URL)
- the status code (e.g. error messages)
and the transmission protocol used
(e.g. HTTPS/1.1)
- Name of the accessed files
This anonymous access data is
evaluated solely for the purpose of
ensuring an error-free service and
for improving our website.
This data will not be disclosed
to third parties.
Note: IP addresses are considered
personal data.
We therefore do not log them.
The server log files are deleted
after 7 days.
In the case of project collaboration via
WebRTC (=Web Realtime Communication),
the data for establishing the connection
is stored in the working memory on our
servers for a short time.
See details in the follwing section
"Privacy on project collaboration
with WebRTC".
The website does not use cookies,
web beacons or other tracking
technologies.
There are no plugins implemented
(e.g. for social media).
The website is made available on our
own servers.
The servers are located in Switzerland.
Privacy on project collaboration
with WebRTC
(= Web Real Time Communication)
It is possible to connect to one or several
participants and to transmit audio, video
and data in real-time
(data = project pages or entire projects).
Only one connection is active at a time.
If several connections exist, all others
will be temporarily paused. Switching
to another participant is possible at any
time, without permanently deleting
the existing connections.
A conference call is not possible.
WebRTC enables an encrypted
browser-to-browser connection
(= direct connection) without a
relay server.
WebRTC is a component of the
webbrowser and works without
the installation of external programs
or plugins.
Configurations of the routers and
firewalls at the participants may not
allow a direct browser-to-browser
connection. In this case, the WebRTC
specifications allow the use of a relay
server (= TURN server).
We only enable direct
browser-to-browser connections,
i.e. we have not implemented a
TURN server. Establishing a
connection to another participant
is therefore not always possible.
A freely selectable connection key
is required for establishing the
connection.
This key must be known to both
participants (e.g. by email, SMS,
whatsapp, phone ...). The same
connection key must be entered
by both participants in their
webbrowser.
WebRTC requires a STUN server
to compile the connection data
(SDP = Session Description Protocol).
The connection key and the
connection data (= SDP) are
transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) to our
servers and stored in the working
memory.
When connection data of both
participants is available, the data will
be forwarded to the devices (browser)
of the two participants (= signalling).
When connection is established, the
connection key and the connection
data (= SDP) are automatically deleted
on the server.
If a connection could not be established,
the connection key and the connection
data (= SDP) on the server are
automatically deleted after 10 minutes.
For the sake of completeness it should
be mentioned that the IP address can
be retrieved by the other participant
via additional programs during an
established connection.
Both participants must explicitly allow
access to the camera and microphone
when connection is established.
The connection will be deleted
immediately if a participant declines.
Sending project pages or entire projects
is supported. The users are solely
responsible for respecting any existing
copyrights of third parties within the sent
content.
Our servers are only needed for establishing
the connection according to the WebRTC
specifications.
We do not collect any personal data in
connection with WebRTC and are not able
to draw any conclusions to the connection
and its participants.
We have absolutely no access to the
encrypted browser-to-browser connection.
The two participants are solely responsible
for their communication.
Encryption
We use encryption methods of the current
technology status via HTTPS.
Most browsers mark transport encryption
with a padlock in the address bar.
